Field Interview Host

Sparknify is seeking a confident, charismatic on-site Field Interview Host to engage VIP guests, founders, investors, speakers and attendees at its technology events. The part-time role is the on-camera face of attendee engagement: you move through the venue, conduct short casual interviews, and help capture the energy of the event. The interviews feed recap films, promotional materials, highlight videos and social media.

Responsibilities

• Conduct short, casual interviews with attendees, speakers, VIPs and organizers
• Identify interesting subjects on-site and start conversations comfortably
• Assist with planning interview segments and guiding interview flow
• Collaborate with production staff, event staff and videographers
• Take part in occasional sit-down interview segments

Requirements

• Based in the SF Bay Area, available for evening and weekend events on a per-event basis
• Reliable transportation and strong communication skills
• Comfortable speaking on camera and improvising; hosting or interviewing experience a plus

Part-time and event-driven, with occasional hourly work plus event commitments.
