Executive Creative Director, Creative

The Executive Creative Director (ECD) will set the strategic creative vision for AnyMind Vietnam, establishing a high-performing creative culture that merges storytelling, emerging media landscapes, technology and business strategy. Working in close partnership with Business Directors and Strategy Leads, you will push the creative boundaries of our output for both existing global/local clients and pitch-winning new business opportunities. You will take full ownership of creative strategy, concept development, and execution, leading a hungry, talented team of senior creative leaders, art directors, and copywriters to produce global-standard, high-impact campaigns.

What You'll Do

• Strategic Vision & Business Integration
  Define, anchor, and champion the agency’s creative vision and philosophy to elevate AnyMind's standing in the market. Align creative goals with the broader business strategy, demonstrating how creative excellence directly impacts client growth and agency revenue.

 

• Creative Leadership, Mentorship & Team Building
  Lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team of senior creative directors, art directors, and copywriters. Foster an inclusive, supportive, and ambitious environment through regular work reviews, tailored mentorship, career pathing, and hands-on guidance to help creatives consistently deliver award-caliber work.

 

• Pitch-Winning Concept Development & Campaign Execution
  Spearhead the development of original, multi-channel creative platforms and integrated communication solutions. Deliver differentiating ideas that solve complex business challenges, leading high-stakes client pitches and executive presentations with gravitas and persuasive storytelling.

 

• Strategic Collaboration & Client Ownership
  Partner seamlessly with Business Directors, Strategy Leads, and Tech teams from pitch through execution. Take ultimate accountability for delivering on the client's brand vision while proactively uncovering new growth opportunities within existing accounts.

 

• Technology, Innovation & Modern Storytelling
  Champion the creative integration of proprietary technology, AI, data, and emerging media channels. Continually explore new storytelling formats, digital tools, and creative tech applications to keep agency output ahead of industry trends and competitor offerings.

 

• Process Excellence & Resource Management
  Establish, refine, and enforce robust creative processes-including brief quality standards, structured review feedback loops, and cross-departmental collaboration models. Collaborate with Traffic and Project Management leads to ensure the right creative talent is deployed to the right projects for maximum efficiency and quality.

 

• Industry Thought Leadership & Brand Representation
  Act as the primary brand ambassador for AnyMind’s creative reputation. Drive the agency’s public profile by authoring high-impact industry articles, participating in panel discussions, submitting work for international awards, and presenting at key industry events.

 

Who You Are

• A bachelor's degree is required 
• Experience: 12 - 14+ years of creative experience in leading advertising agencies or integrated marketing consultancies.
• Leadership Track Record: Minimum 2-3 years in an ECD or equivalent senior creative leadership role, with proven experience managing, scaling, and mentoring large, multi-disciplinary creative teams.
• Proven Portfolio: An exceptional, award-recognized portfolio demonstrating high-impact, integrated campaigns for leading global or regional brands.
• Business Acumen: Demonstrated history of partnering effectively with Strategy and Account Management to win major pitches and grow existing client revenue.
• Tech-Savvy Strategy: Deep understanding of digital ecosystems, modern storytelling platforms, social/content strategy, and how technology fuels creative concepts.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation, client management, and storytelling skills with an ability to command the room and pitch complex concepts to C-suite stakeholders.
