Customer Success Manager - Creator Economy
The Creator Economy runs on two things Creators can't get a straight answer on: what their content is actually earning across platforms, and when that money lands in their account. We're solving both.
Over 1.2 million Creators across 50+ countries rely on ChannelMeter for the data behind their business—performance and monetization reporting across platforms beyond YouTube—and for the payments infrastructure that turns that data into money in their bank account. We've processed $1.8B+ in payments for Creator Networks, agencies, IP distributors, and global brands.
The market is heading toward $500B by 2027, and most of the infrastructure to support it—on the data side and the money side—doesn't exist yet. We're building it. If you join now, you're joining an industry with a long runway, and you'll grow with it.
We don't have a Customer Success playbook yet. You'll write it. This isn't a check-in-once-a-quarter role: you'll own real customer relationships, spot risk before it becomes churn, and turn what you learn into a repeatable process. One week a customer asks "why does my YouTube monetization number look off," the next "where's my payment," and often both at once.
The customer relationship
- Guide customers from onboarding through renewal and expansion, building trust with day-to-day operators and decision-makers
- Manage a portfolio of Creator Networks, agencies, and brands, with hands-on care for the largest accounts and simple, scalable playbooks for the rest
The data and the money
- Help customers understand their performance and monetization data as clearly as they'd understand a payment
- Catch anomalies (earnings that don't match what a customer expects) before they become escalations
- Track account health through retention, expansion, sentiment, and usage patterns
Turning signals into action
- Work with Finance, Risk, Data, and Product to resolve payment and reporting issues
- Bring customer feedback back to Product in a structured way, not as one-off tickets
Building the playbook
- Use AI every day to prep calls, summarize account history, draft QBRs, and flag risk patterns
- Keep every commitment and renewal date tracked in a clean pipeline
- Define what great Customer Success looks like at ChannelMeter
- 3+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or a customer-facing role in SaaS, fintech, or the creator economy
- AI-fluent, every day. You use Claude, Codex, Cowork, or similar tools in your daily workflow and can show us how. This is required.
- You've built process where none existed: a checklist, a template, an onboarding guide, a health score
- You can turn a confusing number or a payment question into a clear answer, in writing
- Obsessively organized, with follow-through that catches what everyone else missed
- Genuinely curious about how Creators make money across platforms
- You've built or automated something yourself with AI ("vibe coding"), SQL, scripts, or spreadsheets
- Experience with creator analytics, MCN tools, or platform monetization (YouTube or otherwise)
- Payments, fintech, or financial operations experience
- Time in the Creator Economy: platform, agency, brand, or network side
- Startup experience where you built the process, not just followed it
- Like owning a customer relationship from start to finish
- Get energy from untangling a confusing number
- Build the template instead of waiting for one
- Treat AI as your default tool, not a novelty
- Care about the Creator Economy
- Want a finished playbook handed to you on day one
- Prefer quarterly check-ins to hands-on problem solving
- Are uncomfortable working with data and spreadsheets
- Ownership of how Customer Success works at a company serving 1.2M Creators
- Direct access to leadership and a real voice in the product roadmap
- A growth path as the function builds out
- Health benefits, unlimited PTO, team offsites, and flexible work arrangements
First 60 days: you've met every account in your portfolio, can speak accurately to the data and the money behind your top accounts, and have a first version of a health-tracking system and task pipeline in place.
By 6 months: retention and expansion in your book are trending up, Product and Data are getting structured signal from your accounts, and the playbooks you've built are ones a future hire could pick up and run with.
