About the Company

BigUp is building a new category of entertainment: Predictainment. Attention has shifted from TV networks to creators, and prediction markets have transformed how audiences engage with live events. We're building a platform that lets any creator launch their own TV network — think Twitch meets Kalshi/Polymarket. Creators host livestreams supported by proprietary AI agents that handle production, clips, stats, and graphics, while fans watch and predict alongside their communities in a multiplayer experience.

We're a team of builders from Stanford, MIT, Circle, and Microsoft, backed by top-tier VCs and industry leaders from OpenAI, DraftKings, Whatnot, and Amazon Studios.

After a successful pilot this year, we're expanding rapidly into new markets — starting with NFL and college football, then non-sports verticals later this fall. We’re looking for a Creator Partnerships Lead to own creator partnerships at BigUp.

About the Role

We're looking for a Creator Partnerships Lead to own the full creator lifecycle at BigUp. You wil lead efforts to recruite the right creators to stream on BigUp and help turn them into future broadcasters that drive exponential growth for the platform.

You've built and scaled this at another platform where creators are the heartbeat of a community. You know how creator economies work and where they break. You know which creators move metrics and which don't.

This is a leadership role that is also, for now, an individual contributor role. You'll be setting the strategy and executing it yourself. As the creator base scales, this becomes a team — and you'll build it. We're looking for someone who takes the wheel. You'll get context, priorities, support and a playbook we’ve been developing - that you’ll be expected to refine and execute.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit the creators who move the business. Identify talent whose audience and style are a genuine fit for BigUp, build the pipeline, run the pitch, and close. You'll develop a point of view on what a high-signal creator looks like for us.
  • Own agency relationships. Manage our partnerships with creator agencies and talent management companies, negotiate the terms, and turn those relationships into a repeatable sourcing channel rather than one-off introductions.
  • Be the point of contact for every creator on the platform. Onboarding, escalations, payouts, product questions, the 11pm "my stream is down" message. Creators should know exactly who to call, and that person is you.
  • Make sure creators actually like being here. Track sentiment, spot churn risk before it becomes churn, and fix what's fixable. When it's a product problem, you're the one carrying that signal back to the team with enough evidence to get it prioritized.
  • Help creators grow on BigUp. Work with them on format, cadence, market selection, and audience conversion. You should be able to look at a creator's numbers and tell them something they didn't already know about their own channel.
  • Report on what's working. Build the view of creator performance that the rest of the company runs on — acquisition, activation, retention, and volume driven per creator.

Qualifications

  • People who do well at BigUp are comfortable figuring things out as they go, biased toward action, and genuinely passionate about what we’re building. They care more about outcomes than credit and stay close to the product and the people using it.
  • 4+ years of experience in creator management is ideal, but we’re open to folks from partnerships, talent, strategy, media or account management backgrounds.
  • Exceptional communicator. You'll be moving between a 25-year-old streamer, an agency director, and our engineering team in the same afternoon. All three should feel like you speak their language.
  • Real fluency in social media. You can look at a creator's following and tell the difference between an audience that shows up and an audience that's just a number. You know what engagement is worth something and what's inflated, and you can explain why.
  • Genuinely data-driven. Not "I look at dashboards." You know what metrics to look at, notice when they’re telling you something odd, and figure out what's actually happening underneath it.
  • Experience sourcing and working with creators. You've done this before — at a platform, an agency, a network, or a brand. You know how creator deals get built and where they fall apart.
  • An existing network. Ideally you already know people we want on BigUp, and they already trust you.
  • Self-directed. You're comfortable with ambiguity, you set your own priorities, and you'd rather ask forgiveness than sit waiting for direction.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with prediction markets
  • Experience at an early-stage startup, especially through a launch
  • Existing relationships with creator communities
  • Comfort with Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar analytics tooling

Pay range and compensation package

  • Competitive salary + meaningful equity in a high-growth, VC-backed startup
  • A high-caliber team of peers from the world’s leading tech and research institutions
  • A seat at the table during an inflection point for the company
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Generous PTO

Equal Opportunity Statement

BigUp is committed to diversity and inclusivity.
