About Carpe

Carpe is the fastest-growing deodorant brand in the US. Our team is made up of smart people who care about the work, building together in person in downtown Durham, NC. The office is open, with plenty of quiet niches when you need to focus, and the pace is fast.

Who we’re looking for

We work with a lot of creators and affiliates, and we want to work with a lot more. We need someone to run that engine: find them, get them set up, and keep them posting.

Our Head of Influencer Partnerships leads strategy and closes the biggest deals. You run everything else day to day, and you handle the follow-through on those big deals so our partnerships lead can stay on the relationship.

The foundation is already here: a creator CRM, intake forms, onboarding materials, outreach templates, and programs that are live today. Your job is to own it, make it better, and run it every day without dropping anything.

If you see a messy manual process and start building the checklist or the automation before anyone asks, you’ll feel at home here.

If this excites you but you don’t check every box below, we’d still love to hear from you.

What you’ll do

Find creators

  • Own first touch on every lead: the intake form, the creator inbox, DMs, and your own outreach
  • Run discovery calls with new and emerging creators. Pass the top tier to our partnerships lead with the context they need
  • Turn manual sourcing into something repeatable: templates, filters, scoring, automations
  • Keep the creator CRM right. Every creator’s status, program, contact info and history in one place

Get them live

  • Onboarding, start to finish: welcome, agreement signed and filed, payment set up, product shipped, first brief delivered
  • Keep the creator guide, brand voice and claims guidance current
  • Shorten the time from yes to first post
  • Make joining Carpe feel like joining a team, not filling out forms

Keep them posting

  • Brief creators on what’s working, and celebrate their wins
  • Run the operations behind big seeding pushes and campaigns: lists, fulfillment, tracking who posted
  • Outreach, follow ups, posting reminders, thank yous
  • Keep timelines and owners clear across teams

Keep it compliant

We sell in a regulated category. Creator content carries claims we have to stand behind, and the disclosure rules for paid creators are not optional.

  • Own disclosure standards across every program and every kind of compensation: commission, bonuses, gifted product, contests, revenue share
  • Make sure disclosure and usage rights are in every creator agreement, and keep the signed copies
  • Check live content on a set schedule and get noncompliant posts fixed or taken down
  • Review every new incentive structure before it launches

Report on it

  • Track content delivery and approvals, and hand finished assets to our editors and paid media team
  • Keep the CRM, payment schedule and budget tracker accurate every week
  • Report pipeline health, cost per asset and creator performance to leadership
  • Find where the system breaks or slows down, and fix it

What we’re looking for

If most of these are true, please apply.

  • 2 to 4 years in affiliate, creator, influencer or partnerships operations, at a brand, an agency, or as a creator yourself
  • You know the FTC Endorsement Guides and platform disclosure rules, and you’ve actually applied them
  • You understand TikTok Shop or a similar marketplace: listings, promotions, affiliate workflows, reporting
  • You’ve run campaigns, launches or seeding at volume
  • You’ve built or run repeatable workflows: CRMs, outreach sequences, intake forms, trackers
  • Contracts, paid partnership permissions and whitelisting don’t scare you
  • You’re a strong writer. Outreach, briefs and onboarding docs, in brand voice

How you work

  • Nothing slips. You know where every creator is, and so does everyone else
  • You build the checklist before anyone asks for one
  • Creators like working with you
  • The details matter to you

Nice to have

  • TikTok Shop experience for a consumer brand
  • You’ve built and managed an affiliate or UGC creator program yourself
  • Recruiting creators at volume, or recruiting experience of any kind
  • Airtable, and automation tools for outreach and workflows
  • Beauty, personal care, wellness, supplements, or another regulated CPG category

What you’ll get

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • A company computer of your choosing
  • 401k
  • Health insurance (Carpe covers a portion), with vision and dental options
  • Employer paid life insurance
  • Free product, a snack and drink bar, and a team of brilliant, determined, and kind people to build alongside
