About GASSED
GASSED is a paid social performance creative, media, and CRO agency, and we're built around one goal: helping brands get more customers. We tackle the stuff that keeps marketers up at night, like rising CPAs and the endless need for fresh creative, by producing a high volume of ads that actually perform. UGC production, landing pages, paid media strategy, it all ladders up to results.
We're a small, tight team that likes making things. If it converts, we're excited about it.
The Role
Full-time, based in our San Marcos, CA warehouse.
Heads up: this isn't a laptop-and-headphones job. You'll be in the office most days, working alongside creators and filming a lot of content. It's fast, hands-on, and genuinely fun if you like being around people and making stuff all day.
The job in one line: show up, run great shoots, and get takes that turn into ads that work.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Filming UGC-style ads daily on iPhone and camera (we care about output, not pixel-perfection)
- Working directly with creators and talent, helping them relax and feel natural on camera
- Running scripts, testing hooks, and pulling multiple variations of each idea
- Keeping the energy up and shoots moving (we're never grinding on one video all day)
- Capturing content built to sell, not just look pretty
You'll Probably Love This If
- You get energy from being around people and directing talent
- You'd rather ship something good today than chase perfect all week
- You already have a feel for what works on TikTok and Meta
- You like a busy, high-output day
- You take direction well and can also improvise when a shoot goes sideways
It Might Not Be Your Fit If
- You're aiming for a cinematographer or short-film career (totally valid, just not this role)
- You need a couple hours to dial in lighting and framing
- You'd rather work solo than be on set with people every day
- You prefer slow, polished production over speed and testing
What We're Looking For
- Some experience filming content (UGC, social, ads, whatever you've got)
- Comfort working with and directing on-camera talent
- Solid organization and clear communication
- Paid social or performance creative experience is a big plus
- A degree is cool, but we care a lot more about what you can actually do
