Content Creator / Writer - Food and Lifestyle

We're working with an established digital lifestyle publisher looking to hire a Food & Lifestyle Writer / Creator, combining strong editorial storytelling with engaging short-form video content.

This is a 50/50 editorial and social role. Half your time will be spent writing and developing high-performing content for the website, while the other half will involve creating social-first content across platforms including Instagram and TikTok.

This is London based and unfortunately we cant consider remote applications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create engaging food and lifestyle content across editorial and social channels

* Research, pitch and produce written features, guides, reviews, news and SEO-led content

* Develop and produce short-form video, from concept and filming through to editing and publishing

* Interview chefs, talent and industry figures for editorial and social content

* Review and cover restaurants, bars and other relevant venues across London

* Develop relationships with venues and industry contacts to support editorial coverage and content opportunities

* Produce editorial and commercial content, including client campaigns

* Attend relevant launches, tastings and industry events, representing the brand both on and off camera

* Stay ahead of food, lifestyle, social and content trends, with a strong understanding of what drives audience engagement

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience in digital journalism, content creation and/or short-form video

* A genuine passion for food, restaurants and lifestyle content

* Confidence appearing on camera and interviewing contributors or industry figures

* Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt your writing for editorial, commercial, SEO and social audiences

* Experience filming and editing mobile-first video using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar

* Plenty of curiosity, creativity and energy - this is a hands-on role for someone who wants to be out discovering and creating content rather than behind a desk all week
