About Storyy

Storyy is a content operations platform that helps businesses show up consistently with video, without hiring an in-house team or getting burned by an agency. We believe in human creativity enhanced by AI, not replaced. We've produced more than 100,000 videos for our customers. We work with partners like Silicon Slopes and CreatorHub, and with creator coaches across the industry.

We're growing, and we need someone who can both make great content and teach others to do it.

The Role

You'll be the on-camera face and teaching voice of Storyy. About half your time goes into building our own brand on social media. The other half goes into helping our customers and community get better at content: through training, webinars, and direct communication.

You bring the ideas, the scripts and the on-camera energy. Our editors handle the rest. You'll use the Storyy system every day to produce a lot of content, working up to multiple posts per day across our channels, with our editing team turning your best ideas into finished videos. You don't have to edit everything yourself. Your job is to create, experiment, and make everything better over time.

This role is remote-first. You'll create content independently throughout the week, and come into our Orem office 2–4 times a month for studio days with our CEO, capturing founder-led content together and pulling out the stories, insights and ideas that make Storyy stand out.

This isn't a "post three times a week" job. You'll help shape how thousands of business owners think about content.

What You'll Do

Organic social (~40%)

  • Come up with ideas, write scripts, and film content for Storyy's accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
  • Use the Storyy platform and our editing team to produce a lot of content, working up to multiple posts per day. You handle creative direction, they handle post-production
  • Give editors clear direction and feedback so the finished content matches your vision
  • Create content consistently on your own throughout the week: on camera, on location, screen recordings, and whatever format fits the idea
  • Lead monthly studio days with our CEO: plan the topics, script and direct the sessions, and capture founder-led content, both on his own and alongside you
  • Appear on camera regularly. You're a big part of how people meet Storyy
  • Turn customer wins, product updates and industry trends into content that performs
  • Track what works and double down on it. Report monthly on reach, engagement and inbound leads from organic

Customer training & webinars (~35%)

  • Build and run recurring live webinars and workshops on content strategy, on-camera confidence, hooks and scripting, and how to get the most out of Storyy
  • Be Storyy's most active user. Use what you learn from your own daily workflow to show customers what's possible
  • Create onboarding and training material: short videos, guides, templates
  • Coach customers one-on-one or in small groups when they're stuck or not getting results
  • Pass customer feedback to the product team so we build the right things

Marketing & customer communication (~25%)

  • Write customer emails, newsletters and in-app announcements
  • Support launches with content, demos and messaging
  • Help with case studies, testimonials and partner co-marketing
  • Keep one consistent Storyy voice across every channel

What You Bring

  • 2+ years creating short-form video content, for your own audience, a brand or clients. Portfolio required.
  • Comfortable and natural on camera. You can teach live to a room of 200 without a script.
  • Teaching or coaching experience. You've helped other people get better at content, not just made your own.
  • Strong creative direction. You can explain what makes a video work and give editors clear, useful feedback.
  • Comfortable directing others on camera. You can prep, coach and draw great content out of a busy executive, not just perform yourself.
  • Strong writer. Your emails get opened and your scripts hold attention.
  • Data-literate. You know the difference between vanity metrics and results that matter.
  • Self-directed. You'll work closely with the founder, but nobody will hand you a daily to-do list.
  • Based in Utah and able to come into our Orem office 2–4 times a month.

Nice to Have

  • An existing audience or personal brand
  • Experience with B2B, SaaS or small business owners
  • Basic editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, Descript) for quick turnarounds. Helpful, not required
  • Familiarity with AI content tools and a clear point of view on using them well
  • Webinar platforms (Zoom, Riverside, StreamYard), email tools, and scheduling tools

What Success Looks Like

  • 30 days: You know our customers and product, you've run your first studio day with the CEO, and you've shipped your first batch of content with the editing team.
  • 90 days: Publishing at least one post per day, with a measurable lift in engagement and inbound. A monthly webinar series is running. The customer onboarding content library is live.
  • 6 months: Publishing multiple posts per day across channels. Organic social is a real lead channel. Customers who go through your training stay longer and get better results.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $60,000–$75,000 base salary, depending on experience
  • Opportunity to participate in the company profit-sharing program
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Paid time off as needed
  • Remote-first, with in-studio access for recording and content production
  • A dedicated editing team to bring your ideas to life
  • Direct access to the founder and a real say in how the brand grows
