About the Position

The Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (CVCA) represents the investors helping to build Canada's economy. Its members commit capital across the life of a business, from the venture funds that lead a startup's first institutional round to the private equity firms that buy established businesses and expand them. That capital finances the expansion and hiring that strengthen the Canadian economy. Since 1974 CVCA has spoken for that industry, and it now represents more than 340 firms and 2,600 industry leaders. If you want your work to contribute to Canada's economic growth, this role places you at the centre of the industry that finances it.

CVCA is hiring a Communications and Content Manager to carry its voice in public and to bring fresh approaches to its communications strategy. You work at the forefront of how organizations communicate, and you will bring that thinking to innovating, pitching and testing new formats and channels with its audiences. Audiences include the national and international business and financial press, institutional investors, the ecosystem, and Canadians. You will also support the government relations team with public-facing communications behind its advocacy.
