Full-time, Permanent

The Role

The Sole Supplier is looking for an experienced Brand Partnerships Manager to help grow our partnerships across brands, media agencies and PR agencies.

Reporting to our Head of Partnerships, you’ll bring a strong track record in media sales and partnerships, along with an established network of industry relationships that you can build on from day one.

This is a proactive, new business focused role. You’ll use your existing relationships alongside regular outreach to get meetings, open doors and create new opportunities while also managing inbound briefs when they come in.

You’ll own the sales process from initial conversation through to brief response, pitch, negotiation and close, working closely with our Creative team to develop best in class campaigns for partners.

This is a fast paced role for someone who thrives being pushed outside their comfort zone, taking full ownership of what they’re doing. You’ll be a great listener and communicator, able to build trust quickly, ask good questions and understand what people need. You’ll also be supportive, approachable and willing to get stuck in.

What You'll Do

  • Generate new business with leading brands and agencies across sneakers, fashion and street culture.
  • Use your existing industry relationships to open doors and create new opportunities.
  • Proactively reach out to new prospects and build relationships with the right people.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline through outreach, meetings, networking and industry events.
  • Understand what prospective partners are trying to achieve and where The Sole Supplier can help.
  • Manage opportunities from the first conversation through to proposal, pitch, negotiation and close.
  • Respond to inbound briefs alongside generating your own new business.
  • Work closely with our Creative team to put together strong responses to briefs and develop ideas for partners.
  • Pitch The Sole Supplier, our audience and our ideas confidently to prospective partners.
  • Build long term relationships with partners and look for opportunities to grow them over time.
  • Work towards individual new business and revenue targets.
  • Represent The Sole Supplier at client meetings, pitches and industry events.

What We're Looking For

You’ll be an experienced partnerships professional with:

  • A strong track record in media sales.
  • An established network of relationships across relevant brands, media agencies and PR agencies
  • A proven ability to turn relationships and outreach into meetings, opportunities and revenue.
  • A proactive approach to new business, with the confidence to reach out, open doors and create your own opportunities.
  • Experience selling media, content, creative campaigns or brand partnerships.
  • Experience managing the sales process from first conversation through to pitch, negotiation and close.
  • Strong presentation and pitching skills.
  • Good commercial awareness and an understanding of what brands and agencies need from their media partners.
  • A strong understanding of sneakers, fashion, street culture and the wider world our audience is part of.
