Apply at Tom's Studio

Tom’s Studio is a founder-led creative lifestyle brand. We design and make tools through

curiosity, iteration and craft. Our content should feel the same: thoughtful, human, quietly

compelling, and rooted in real process.

We're looking for a full-time Brand Content Producer to take ownership of story-led content across our organic social channels.

This is a role for a social-first thinker with exceptional storytelling skills who is tuned into trends and knows how to create content people genuinely want to watch, while staying true to the Tom's Studio brand. You use analytics to shape future content and are always looking for ways to improve performance, engagement and reach.

You have a proven track record of building an online community, love creating content and are equally comfortable in front of the camera as you are behind it. You have a passion for telling engaging stories and understand how to translate craftsmanship, creativity and everyday moments into content that resonates with people.

From planning shoots and working to marketing campaign deadlines through to delivering the final edit, you enjoy every stage of the creative process.

The Role

You'll be embedded in the rhythm of the studio, working closely with the founder and wider team to spot stories as they happen and turn them into social-first content people genuinely want to watch.

This role suits someone who thrives on ownership, preparation and iteration, and who takes pride in doing things properly. We're looking for someone who doesn't just follow trends, but understands how to tell authentic stories that people want to come back to.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Producing scroll stopping short-form content with a social-first mindset, ensuring ideas feel native to each platform, relevant to the audience
  • Developing content ideas and narratives with the founder and studio team.
  • Working closely with the marketing team to plan and manage content production.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, producing a high volume of content without compromising on quality.
  • Generating and developing fresh content ideas every day.
  • Creating clear production plans, editing templates, systems and workflows to improve speed and consistency.
  • Maintaining visibility of content in production, delivery timelines and performance.
  • Preparing locations, props, equipment and talent ahead of shoots.
  • Filming with a strong eye for lighting, framing and sound.
  • Editing video content with a clear sense of pacing, storytelling and structure.
  • Ensuring all final content includes clear, well-paced captions and subtitles.
  • Using performance insights to iterate and continually improve content.
  • Working closely with the marketing team to upload and schedule content.
  • Spotting opportunities to turn business priorities, product launches, campaigns and customer insights into compelling social content.

You'll Be a Great Fit If You...

  • Are a natural storyteller with a fascination for people, process and craftsmanship.
  • Are a strong social-first video editor with an excellent sense of rhythm, clarity and restraint.
  • Are as comfortable in front of the camera as you are behind it.
  • Can adapt your style while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Love analysing performance data and using insights to shape future content.
  • Understand what makes people stop scrolling - and how to keep them watching.
  • Have a good understanding of lighting and sound recording, not just cameras.
  • Are highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro.
  • Feel confident directing the founder and wider team on camera.
  • Are a people person who builds trust and helps others feel at ease.
  • Are highly organised, with strong planning and project management skills.

You'll Love

  • Planning and running shoots thoroughly and well in advance.
  • Collaborating with the team to develop new ideas.
  • Working with production schedules, spreadsheets and content calendars.
  • Finding ways to make production more efficient through great preparation.
  • Being immersed in a creative studio environment.
  • Turning everyday moments into thoughtful, engaging content.
  • Creating work that has the potential to reach millions while staying true to the brand.

Nice to have

  • Understanding of creative tools, stationery, art supplies or making culture
  • Experience in a workshop, studio or design-led environment
  • Basic illustration or motion graphics skills
