Apply at MIISTA

Miista is looking for a Brand Collaborations & Community Engagement Manager. This is a new position within our Global Marketing team. The position is London-based and offered in a Hybrid mode, Full-time.

About us

Miista is a fast-growing but sustainable lifestyle fashion brand. We started in East London in 2011 as an independent brand with a mission to make craft sexy again. That remains our main global marketing mission.

We work with a team of specialist makers to handcraft shoes, clothing and accessories at our own factory and partner factories in Spain and Portugal. Our Short Supply Chain gives us direct control over who makes our pieces, and how they’re produced, from beginning to end.

We like to think our clothing and shoes offer another point of view. We’re committed to doing ‘The Opposite Thing’, pushing the boundaries of construction and design to create expressive, wearable pieces that have character and longevity.

Our Miista Crowd is placed at the same level of importance as our Product & Craft - because for us, it’s not just about clothing and shoes but making space to explore and enjoy what people do in them. This role’s key focus is to build our Community engagement further (we call it our Miista Crowd). Our brand got built with our Crowd, not just for our Crowd, and we are looking for someone to continue and lead that work we started 15 years ago.

Our tone of voice and storytelling are a big part of who we are, and we also bring it to life through the people we collaborate with, who style and wear our pieces. We're looking for someone to build those relationships further and make every collaboration feel unmistakably Miista.

We're looking for someone who gets us instinctively and can carry the Miista-specific tone of voice into every partnership and conversation.

The role

You'll lead our collaborations with stylists, artists, creators, brands and organisations, and turn our audience into an engaged, loyal Miista Crowd.

You'll also be the guardian of our tone of voice across collaborations and community.

Whether you're pitching a brand partner, briefing a creator or replying to a comment at 9 pm, everything you touch should sound unmistakably like us.

You'll sit within the Marketing team, report to the Marketing Manager in London, and work closely with the Content, Social, Press, and Product teams. For now, you will have 3 people reporting to you directly (one in London, one in Los Angeles and one in Paris).

What you'll do

STYLISTS

  • Build and manage a network of stylists (editorial, celebrity, personal, and social-first) who genuinely connect with our brand, and lead the 3 people you manage.
  • Develop stylist programmes: seeding, gifting, pull requests, loans, capsule edits and long-term partnerships.
  • Co-create campaigns, custom collaborations and content with stylists, and brief them on our creative direction and tone of voice.
  • Manage logistics: samples, returns, credits, usage rights, and placement tracking.
  • Find and pitch wider collaborations with brands and creators whose style and personality fit ours.
  • Host stylist and community events, from intimate previews to larger brand moments.
  • Report on reach, placements, engagement and sentiment, and share insights with Product and Creative

BRAND COLLABORATIONS

  • Identify, pitch, and manage brand collaborations, co-branded campaigns, and artist/creator dressing collaborations.
  • Find and pitch collaborations with brands and creatives whose personality genuinely fits ours.
  • Negotiate brand collaboration terms, budgets and deliverables, always taking into consideration ROI and keep projects on time and within the general Marketing Budget, reporting on a daily basis to the Marketing Manager.
  • Build and grow our online and offline Miista Crowd through events, artist collaborations and social channels.
  • Track performance (reach, engagement, conversions, sentiment) and report on ROI
  • Feed community insights back to Product and Marketing to shape what we create

BRAND TONE OF VOICE WITHIN COLLABORATIONS AND OUR MIISTA CROWD

  • Champion and protect our creative tone of voice across all partnerships, campaigns and community spaces.
  • Be the voice of Miista in community spaces (Social Media Channels): replying, hosting and sparking conversation.
  • Write creative briefs that help partners and creators capture our voice, and filter/review their content before it goes live.
  • Lead the brand voice in our community: replying, hosting, and starting conversations with wit and warmth.
  • As the brand grows, train new teammates on our very specific tone of voice.
  • Track performance and sentiment, including how well our voice lands with the audience.

What you'll bring

  • 6+ years' experience in partnerships, influencer marketing, fashion PR, styling, community management, social or creative marketing.
  • A strong network of creators, artists, brands or industry contacts (a big plus).
  • An established network of stylists, or a proven ability to build one fast
  • A strong eye for style and an instinct for what feels on-brand.
  • Confident negotiator and relationship-builder with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Organised and able to juggle several campaigns at once.
  • Comfortable with social platforms, community tools and basic analytics.
  • Bonus: English as a mother tongue, but fluency in Spanish or French is a plus.
  • A natural ear for brand voice and strong copywriting skills (please share examples)
  • Good taste: you know which collaborations feel on-brand and which don't

How to apply

Send your CV and a short note telling us about a collaboration or community project you're most proud of having achieved positive results. Please also tell us how you'd describe our brand's voice in a few words, and make it sound like you.

Send it all to Lydia@miista.com by [20th November 2026]. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are happy to discuss any adjustments you need during the process.

Our Position: The Opposite Thing

Designed in London — Made in Spain — EU Sourced and Produced

Miista upends the exclusionary practices of the fashion industry to show how we’re actually living now. Over the last ten years, we are proud to have built a brand that, through craft, our community, the risks we’ve taken and a sometimes bizarre willingness to laugh at ourselves, has made an elegant commitment to the alternative. A dedication to the opposite thing.

What does that mean? That we’re happy to sacrifice profit and to subvert problematic fashion trends for women to create a product that has personality in addition to aesthetic value. A product that knows women don’t really shop using the search words ‘pretty’ now. If we were your friend, Miista would be the odd one at school who grew up and got an attitude and a sense of confidence. You know when it’s a Miista.
