ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Associate Manager, Influencer Marketing will manage and support ghd North America's influencer marketing program, including organic seeding, gifted collaborations, paid partnership support, creator relationships, UGC sourcing, launch activations, and performance reporting. This role is instrumental in building a creator ecosystem that drives brand awareness, earned media value, cultural relevance, and social amplification.

Working closely with the Consumer Engagement Lead and cross-functional partners, this individual will help bring ghd's innovation, professional authority, and premium brand positioning to life through authentic creator advocacy and measurable impact.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Influencer Strategy & Creator Community

  • Develops and executes ghd North America’s influencer programs across product launches, campaigns, retail moments, events, and cultural opportunities.
  • Builds and maintains a tiered creator network across beauty, hair, fashion, lifestyle, and professional stylist communities.
  • Identifies and recommends creators based on brand fit, audience alignment, content quality, and campaign objectives.
  • Monitors industry trends, emerging talent, and partnership opportunities.
  • Develops tailored outreach strategies that drive earned visibility, engagement, and long-term creator affinity.

Seeding, Gifting & Relationship Management

  • Manages influencer seeding and gifting programs, including creator outreach, product allocation, mailings, tracking, and recaps.
  • Oversees creator communications and relationship management to deliver premium creator experience.
  • Partners with internal teams and agency partners on logistics, product distribution, and list management.
  • Cultivates relationships with creators, stylists, agents, and talent representatives to strengthen brand advocacy.
  • Maintains influencer databases, outreach history, and content tracking.

Influencer Briefs, Paid Partnerships & Content

  • Develops influencer briefs, guidance, product education materials, and creator communications
  • Supports paid influencer partnerships, including creator recommendations, scoping, deliverable tracking, content review, usage rights, timelines, approvals, and post-campaign reporting.
  • Partners with Consumer Engagement on negotiations, budget tracking, contract inputs, and partnership recommendations.
  • Tracks campaign deliverables and ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Sources and distributes creator content for use across social, paid media, retail, PR, DTC, and marketing channels.
  • Partners with Social to identify and amplify high-performing creator and UGC content.

Launches, Events & Brand Activations

  • Supports influencer integration across product launches, PR moments, brand events, retail activations, sponsorships, desksides, and experiential programs.
  • Develops PR/influencer mailer concepts and gifting experiences, including creator lists, product priorities, creative direction, mood boards, timelines, vendor coordination, and agency feedback.
  • Manages creator invitations, RSVPs, gifting, talent coordination, and event support.
  • Prepares briefing materials, content capture plans, and stakeholder communications.
  • Identifies and actions on opportunities to drive EMV, engagement, and community growth.

Reporting, Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Tracks influencer performance across EMV, reach, engagement, content volume, creator quality, earned mentions, campaign results, and launch impact.
  • Develops reports and insights that inform future optimization and investment decisions.
  • Maintains campaign trackers, budgets, timelines, content logs, and reporting tools.
  • Partners cross-functionally with PR, Social, Brand Marketing, Retail, DTC, Paid Media, Education, and agency partners to ensure integrated execution.
  • Supports agency and vendor management, ensuring programs are delivered on time, on budget, and on brand.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Communications, or related field plus 4+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, social media, digital marketing, brand partnerships, PR, or related fields, preferably within beauty, hair, fashion, lifestyle, luxury, or consumer brands OR 6 years of relevant experience years in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, social media, digital marketing, brand partnerships, PR, or related fields, preferably within beauty, hair, fashion, lifestyle, luxury, or consumer brands in lieu of a degree
  • 4+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, social media, digital marketing, brand partnerships, PR, or related fields, preferably within beauty, hair, fashion, lifestyle, luxury, or consumer brands.
  • Strong understanding of the beauty and creator landscape, including TikTok, Instagram, creator culture, social trends, earned media, UGC, and influencer performance metrics.
  • Experience sourcing, vetting, briefing, and managing creators across multiple tiers, with the ability to assess brand fit, content quality, audience alignment, and performance potential.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple seeding initiatives, campaigns, timelines, lists, and stakeholder requests at once.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including creator outreach, briefing, follow-ups, internal updates, and agency/vendor communication.
  • Relationship-first mindset with the ability to build trust with creators, stylists, talent representatives, agencies, and internal partners.
  • Experience with influencer reporting, EMV tracking, campaign recaps, and tools such as CreatorIQ, Tribe Dynamics, Dash Hudson/Dash Social, or similar platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort managing logistics, gifting, mailers, product allocations, timelines, content approvals, and deliverable tracking.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, represent the brand with professionalism, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Passion for hair, beauty, creators, fashion, culture, brand storytelling, and community building.

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison to internal incumbents currently in similar roles—Pay Range: 75,000 – 95,000 salary per year plus bonus. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
