About the Role

G&B Digital Management and College of Influence are looking for an Assistant, Creator Programming & Education to support the day-to-day operations behind our Creator education, programming, and strategy work. This role is onsite 5-days per week, based in G&B’s headquarters in Los Angeles, CA (Beverly Grove neighborhood).

This is an early-career role designed for someone who is extremely organized, detail-oriented, naturally curious, and genuinely obsessed with digital content Creators. You should be fascinated by what makes content and Creators successful, eager to stay ahead of emerging platforms and trends, and hungry to understand the business behind it all. Just as importantly, you should be excited to turn what you learn into something useful for others, whether that's helping Creators grow, mentoring emerging professionals, or bringing Creator Economy insights into colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.

Initially, a significant portion of this role will focus on the operational and administrative foundation that keeps our programming running: coordinating sessions, managing calendars and communications, taking detailed notes, creating recaps, maintaining records, tracking participation, organizing information, and ensuring follow-ups actually happen. But this role is intentionally designed to grow beyond administration.

You'll work directly alongside the Director of Creator Programming & Education and gain exposure to Creator strategy, content development, educational programming, platform and industry trends, brand partnerships, and the broader business. As you demonstrate strong execution and judgment, you'll have opportunities to take on increasingly strategic and creative responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who doesn't just want their next job. We want someone who wants to build a career in the Creator Economy and grow with us in the first department of its kind within a digital talent management firm.

Why This Role Matters

College of Influence is the education and programming arm of G&B Digital Management, supporting Creators as they navigate an industry that changes every day. Behind every planning session, webinar, workshop, Creator strategy, case study, industry partnership, and educational program is a tremendous amount of coordination and information. Keeping that ecosystem organized allows us to identify patterns, understand what's working, and ultimately provide better strategy and education to Creators. You'll become deeply familiar with how that work happens from the ground up.

This role is intended to provide a front-row seat to Creator strategy and education while building the operational skills required to eventually lead it. Someone who excels here could grow from supporting programming to coordinating it, managing it, contributing their own strategic perspective, and eventually helping shape what College of Influence does next.

What You'll Do

Programming & Administrative Support

  • Support the coordination and execution of Creator strategy/planning calls, webinars, workshops, courses, meetings, and other educational programming.
  • Manage scheduling, calendar invitations, confirmations, reminders, Zoom links, attendee communications, and other session logistics.
  • Attend educational activities and meetings to take detailed, organized notes and capture key takeaways, decisions, action items, and follow-ups.
  • Draft and organize post-session recaps and supporting materials.
  • Maintain records of educational activities, participation/attendance, topics, outcomes, and follow-ups.
  • Log, categorize, tag, and organize programming data so information can be easily referenced and analyzed.
  • Help maintain internal trackers, databases, calendars, shared drives, and other systems used by the team.
  • Support outreach and coordination with Creators, talent managers, brand/platform partners, speakers, educators, and other participants.
  • Help ensure deadlines, deliverables, and follow-ups don't fall through the cracks.

Creator & Content Support

  • Support the Director in preparing for Creator strategy and Planning Calls through research, account reviews, trend identification, and organization of relevant materials.
  • Research Creators, platforms, content formats, industry developments, emerging tools, and Creator Economy trends as needed, and eventually contribute these items in bi-weekly company-wide meetings.
  • Assist with the development of educational materials, presentations, case studies, program recaps, newsletters, social content, and other College of Influence resources.
  • Help identify and document Creator wins, interesting content strategies, emerging trends, and examples that could be useful to the broader G&B roster.
  • Support the organization and development of repeatable resources, frameworks, and best practices based on what we learn through our programming.

Active Participation & Growth

This is not a heads-down administrative role. While operational excellence is the foundation of the position, we expect the person in this role to actively engage with the work happening around them.

That means:

  • Come to meetings prepared to listen, learn, ask thoughtful questions, and contribute your own perspective.
  • Develop and share opinions about Creators, content, platforms, trends, and the evolving Creator Economy.
  • Pay attention to what is happening across social platforms, and digital culture without needing to be asked.
  • Regularly bring interesting Creators, content formats, trends, platform updates, tools, or ideas to the team.
  • Look for patterns across the work we do and proactively flag opportunities, problems, or ideas.
  • Treat feedback as an opportunity to improve quickly and take on greater responsibility.
  • Demonstrate curiosity about not just what we're doing, but why we're doing it.
  • Over time, begin developing your own point of view and areas of expertise within Creator programming, education, and digital content strategy.
  • Support the development and coordination of College of Influence partnerships with colleges and universities, including research, outreach, meeting preparation, programming, and follow-up.
  • Look for opportunities to translate creator economy insights, skills, and programming into educational experiences for students and emerging professionals.

We don't expect someone entering this role to already know everything. We do expect them to be hungry to learn!

What We're Looking For

  • Approximately 1-3 years of professional experience, ideally in digital media, Influencer/Creator marketing, talent management, social media, entertainment, education, communications, or a related field.
  • A genuine passion for digital Creators, social platforms, digital content, and internet culture.
  • Strong organizational skills and an unusually high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, calendars, and streams of information at once.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence interacting professionally with Creators, colleagues, executives, and external partners.
  • Excellent note-taking skills and the ability to turn conversations into clear summaries, action items, and organized information.
  • A proactive mindset. You notice what needs to happen next and don't always wait for someone to tell you.
  • Intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to understand the strategy and business behind successful digital content.
  • Comfort receiving feedback, asking questions, and learning in a fast-moving environment.
  • Familiarity with major Creator platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging social platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace and comfort learning new software, databases, AI tools, and project-management systems.

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

  • The idea of designing series formats with/for digital content Creators is super exciting to you.
  • You can spend an embarrassing amount of time talking about why one person’s content works and someone else's doesn't.
  • Your TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube feed regularly teaches you something about what's happening on the internet before it reaches mainstream culture.
  • You are the person who takes the best notes in the meeting and has a question or idea by the end of it.
  • You genuinely enjoy organizing information, building systems, and making complicated things easier for other people to understand.
  • You don't need to be the most experienced person in the room, but you want to learn from them.
  • You like helping other people learn and genuinely get something out of explaining, mentoring, or sharing what you know with someone else.
  • The idea of eventually representing College of Influence in conversations with students, educators, universities, and other educational partners sounds exciting to you — not intimidating.

Growth & Mentorship

This position is intentionally designed as an entry point into a long-term career in Creator Programming & Education. You'll work closely with the Director of Creator Programming & Education and receive direct exposure to Creator content strategy, educational programming, Creator development, industry research, brand and platform partnerships, and the systems behind College of Influence.

Growth within the department will be based on demonstrated performance, increasing ownership, strategic judgment, active participation, and the ability to take on progressively more complex work. There is no predetermined timeline for advancement, but there is a clear opportunity for someone who consistently demonstrates that they are ready for more.
