About the Role

A large public university’s digital learning division is hiring an AI Content Strategist to design, build, and scale custom AI content tools and agentic workflows that help teams create brand-aligned, student-centered content at scale. The role sits on the AI Content Strategy and Systems team within a unit focused on the scalable delivery of digital teaching and learning models.

This is a hands-on position at the intersection of content strategy, AI tooling, and product thinking. The strategist will own the full lifecycle of internal AI content tools, from discovery and design through building, testing, launching, and iterating. The work includes configuring custom assistants and workflows in platforms such as Claude and ChatGPT, translating brand voice and editorial standards into AI instructions and structured knowledge, and serving as the editorial owner for system outputs to ensure everything reaching students is engaging, accessible, and on-brand.

No engineering or product background is required, but candidates should be comfortable building directly in AI platforms through instructions, configuration, structured knowledge, and repeated testing. This is a hybrid role requiring reliable commuting to the Scottsdale, Arizona office.
