Role Description The AI Community Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chicago, IL. This role is responsible for engaging and growing TSPN’s community around AI-related topics, tools, and initiatives across online platforms and in-person events. Day-to-day responsibilities include moderating discussions, responding to member inquiries, curating and posting content, and facilitating conversations that help members understand and use AI in creative and practical ways. The AI Community Manager will organize community activities such as workshops, meetups, and collaborative projects, while collecting feedback to inform future programs and resources. The role also involves working closely with internal teams to align community initiatives with organizational goals, track engagement metrics, and ensure a welcoming, inclusive environment for all members.
Qualifications

• Community engagement and management skills, including moderating discussions, fostering respectful dialogue, and building member relationships.
• Familiarity with AI concepts and tools, with the ability to translate technical ideas into clear, accessible language for diverse audiences.
• Experience creating and curating digital content (posts, newsletters, event materials) and managing online platforms or social media communities.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate group activities and live or virtual events.
• Organizational and project coordination abilities, including planning events, tracking participation, and reporting on engagement metrics.
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and the creation of safe, welcoming community spaces.
• Prior experience in community management, customer success, or member-facing roles; experience in innovation or tech communities is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as communications, marketing, psychology, or technology) or equivalent practical experience.
