Jake Paul’s MVP Signs Sky Sports Broadcast Deal

Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), the boxing promotional company co-founded by YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, has secured a broadcast partnership with Sky Sports, bringing live boxing back to the UK platform in 2026.

The promotional company announced the deal at a press conference in London, with multiple MVP athletes in attendance, according to EssentiallySports. The partnership marks Sky Sports’ return to boxing following the conclusion of its four-year agreement with British promoter Ben Shalom’s BOXXER in June 2025.

Deal Structure and Market Access

The Sky Sports agreement expands MVP’s UK footprint while maintaining its existing US distribution arrangements. American audiences will continue to access MVP fights via TV network DAZN, as Sky Sports does not broadcast in the United States.

Sky Sports previously held exclusive rights to Matchroom Boxing from 2012 to 2021 and to BOXXER from 2021 to June 2025. The broadcaster also maintained a licensing agreement with US promoter Top Rank during the same four-year period. Following the conclusion of these deals, Sky Sports held discussions with numerous promoters in the U.S. and the UK before finalizing the MVP partnership.

Women’s Boxing Focus

MVP has positioned women’s boxing as its “core strategy” since its 2021 founding, according to TheAthletic. The promotion’s female roster includes Amanda Serrano, Alycia Baumgardner, former undisputed super-lightweight world champion Chantelle Cameron, super-bantamweight Ellie Scotney, three-weight world champion Terri Harper, and world champion lightweight Caroline Dubois.

The promotion recently added six fighters to its women’s boxing roster, including WBC featherweight champion Tiara Brown, Olympic bronze medalist Lauren Price Jones, and Brazilian influencer-turned-boxer Jully Poca, who has over three million Instagram followers.

Bidarian said he learned the value of giving women an “equal platform” from his time as chief strategy officer and chief financial officer at UFC. “Ronda Rousey was the biggest star in MMA in 2015, unequivocally,” Bidarian said. “Bigger numbers than Conor McGregor, Anderson Silva, Jon Jones. You name it, she was bigger. I believe women’s boxing will have a star like that.”

Netflix Partnership and UK Expansion

MVP launched a partnership with Netflix in 2024, bringing the streaming service into live boxing. Netflix said its broadcast of Paul’s fight against Mike Tyson reached an audience exceeding 100 million viewers.

Bidarian confirmed plans for Jake Paul to fight in the UK, potentially between August and November 2026. “I want him to come to the UK and fight. That’s what I would love to see,” Bidarian said.

Paul is recovering from a broken jaw sustained during his December 2025 knockout loss to Anthony Joshua in Miami.
