Free Creator Economy Class Offered To Hollywood Guild Members
Digital talent management firm G&B Digital Management is launching a free four-hour master class for members of A.M.P.A.S., the Television Academy, and Hollywood guilds. The program, titled “Flipping the Script,” takes place August 21 and September 4 at Soho House’s Soho Works in West Hollywood.
The company’s College of Influence division will run the program. G&B founder and CEO Kyle Hjelmeseth and Director of Education Joey Gagliardi will lead the sessions. Registration is currently open for eligible guild members.
The master class will consist of three sessions. Session one will cover finding niches, building audience trust, and standing out in digital spaces. Session two will focus on constructing marketable profiles and establishing strategic plans for community building and partnerships. This session will include a hands-on content creation assignment.
Session three will feature a panel discussion on integrating on-screen goals with off-screen growth. Panelists will include Stephanie Liu Hjelmeseth, actress-turned-content creator Sally Pressman from Army Wives, and Chad Jamian, who operates the viral cat account @mervthepet. The panel addresses sustainable routines, creative boundaries, and community building.

YouTube ranks as the most-watched video platform in the United States, based on Nielsen data. Goldman Sachs estimates the Creator Economy approaches half-a-trillion dollars by 2027.
“Every day I get calls and emails from workers in the film and television industry asking about opportunities in the Creator Economy,” Hjelmeseth said in a statement. The company offers the class free of charge to provide tools for audience growth and community building.
